Stumbled upon Chris Labrooy's awesome 3D digital designs on behance.net.
Love how he plays with these shapes to make inanimate objects explode with exaggerated, colorful sculptures.

CHILDREN WATCHING PUPPETS
This photo needed to be posted as soon as my eyes could take it in.
I dedicate it to the lovely Natalia Provatas and her puppet mastery and overall puppet love. She may have even emanated from the little girl, screen right, in this photo.
(at least in the glasses and elated expression).

EYESCREAM PARLOR
In case you did not know this about me, I love ice cream very much. I don't particularly like cake, but that's not the point of this post. The point is that ice cream is joy. Pure joy. Which brings me to my latest reason to go on a trip to Europe - to visit this awesome new ice cream shop called "Eyescream and Friends" in Barcelona, Spain.
From what I can tell, it's the Mad Men of self serving/self decorating frozen desserts. With a classy and economical cardboard tray for storing your ice cream (categorized by adorable anthropomorphic designs), two toppings, and the real kicker - two sugar eyes that add a sense of childhood to your meal (yes ice cream can be a meal), it's a surefire way to make your heart flutter.
Overall, this shop screams perfection. Clean design, adorable marketing, customer customizable eating, and on top of all that - this is ice cream we're talking about!
Enjoy. I'm going to go cry into my Los Angeles frozen yogurt bar now.
